Progress for a guy who's mostly spent the past week and a half in his bedroom, only leaving it for a little food and bodily functions. He's found the bottle of vodka that Russia gave him though, and is getting completely shit-faced. Thanks Russia. Merlin is curled up on Suzaku's lap, claws sunk in the boy's thighs. Somehow Suzaku's taken better care of the cat than he has himself.] |

[Suzaku's sitting in a corner of his room, a half-empty bottle of whiskey sitting next to him. Merlin's on his lap, gnawing fixedly on Suzaku's free hand, with no resistance from the owner of said hand. If you listen closely enough, he's murmuring the names of all the people he cares about who've left, over and over.]

[After pilfering a few sandwiches and other random items they were running low on (ie toilet paper) Suzaku returns to Patonce House, his arms full of items. Dropping them off in the kitchen he takes the sandwiches down to the laundry cove.]
Lelouch, they were out of the one you wanted, so I just got...
[frowns as he realizes Lelouch isn't in his room, then slowly puts the sandwiches down and drops from the level for about half an hour]

[when he returns to the second level later, he is quite agitated]
He's not in his study, he's not visiting Nunnally, he's not in any of his usual places. He's been a bit moodly lately, but... Kallen, have you seen him?
Please don't tell Nunnally I can't find him. I have to be sure...

It's paper and tape. I can pilot a Knightmare Frame with ease but I can't wrap a simple gift. [grumble grumble grumble]
[rips off a long piece of tape and starts attacking the package mercilessly, creating an even bigger mess of his wrapping than before, when Merlin slinks up and sinks his teeth into Suzaku's hand]

A set of dog ears the same color as his hair twitch now and then, and a hole in the back of his jeans accommodate the long fluffy tail which matches the ears. The tail swishes back and forth lazily as Suzaku lays there, a little bored. A solitary shoe that may or may not have been gnawed on is stuffed half-way under the couch.] |

After a moment he simply curls up and tries to go back to sleep, without bothering to pick himself up off the floor.] |

In the very back he finally finds what he wanted, a heavily wrapped oblong object about half a meter long. He cradles the object for a moment before flinging it back into the closet.]

I really don't know what to think. The City's at it again obviously. She's ignoring us completely and Lelouch isn't taking it well. We tried talking to her earlier but now she seems to think we're stalkers or something.

[After spending all day helping with the clean-up at Millay's pub, Suzaku returns to Patonce House tired and rather filthy. He knows he should take a shower ASAP, but he wants to put the kettle on while he showers as he really could do with a nice cup of tea when he's done. Hence the frantic rummaging in the kitchen cupboards.]
Please tell me we're not out of green tea. I could have sworn we still had some left. |

The remainder of his belongings have already been boxed up and are sitting by the front door. Currently he's in what had been Euphie's room, slowly boxing up the things she had accumulated during her stay in Template. He's obviously having a hard time with it, his eyes a bit red and his face a little puffy from crying. Carefully he tapes a box closed and writes Euphie's name on it and what's inside before setting it out in the hall. Suddenly he looks up. Something's missing.]
